What is digital scrapbooking all about? Digital scrapbooking is scrapbooking using a graphics based program. Popular programs include Photoshop Elements, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Microsoft Picture It, Digital Image Pro and ACDSee Photo Editor. Many digital scrappers produce print albums, just like traditional paper scrappers, but also share their layouts in online galleries, in emails, and in slideshows that have been burned to CD or DVD. Quickly becoming popular is hybrid scrapbooking. This is the combining of both paper scrapbooking with digital. This can be done by designing word art, stickers, papers, etc. in a graphics program and then printing and combining those items with paper supplies by using traditional scrapbooking tools. Hybrid scrapbookers also love the idea of being able to edit, crop, tint, and enhance their photos before printing and including them in a layout.
